          Description:
          - Provides variance analyses of actual cost performance versus Budget and Forecast
          - Performs monthly SG&A close in cooperation with the local Controllers and Accountants
          - Provides ad hoc analyses at the cost center level
          - Support in preparation of forecasts and budgets; prepares financial reports as requested
          - Provides Audit Support - direct face-to-face meetings with Auditors
          - Mentors and supports junior staff to develop overall departmental professional skills in the areas of financial analysis, accounting concepts, problem-solving, reporting and systems utilization
          - Identifies and actively participates in process improvement initiatives and ad hoc analyses as requested
          - Prepares accruals
          - Continuously improves skills with all PAREXEL financial applications (Oracle, TIME, Hyperion, etc.) and related reporting tools (ADI, Business Objects, Excel, Project Portal, etc.) in the interest of departmental cross-training and system skills development
          - Prepares spreadsheets and other tools used in the monthly close process
          - Plays a key role in the annual G&A budgeting process (expense and capital budgets)
          - Facilitates in developing forecasts, challenging assumptions for the G&A departments
          - Responsible for the accurate reporting of P&L expense and closing accruals for certain countries, ensuring a timely, monthly close according to US-GAAP requirements
          - Provides support to local Controllers/ Accounting Managers for preparation of the Europe G&A Flash report and compiling variances and providing periodic variance reporting for the concerned Companies
          - Plays a key role in consolidation of worldwide Corporate Services and other Corporate Functions and supporting the forecasting, budgeting and variance processes
          - Consolidation of worldwide Corporate Services and other Corporate Functions and reporting to the Budget Holders
          - Overall reporting function to Corporate Services Senior Management

          Experience:
          - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
          - 5-7 years of Financial Analysis experience
          -Excellent understanding of accounting and financial concepts
          - Very experienced with Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
          - Excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural, verbal and written communication skills
          - Excellent financial modeling skills
          - Ability to organize, meet strict deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team
          - Willingness to work in a matrix environment with virtual teams
          - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
          - The ability and confidence to get into the detail of the systems at a transactional level to find the cause of an issue, to understand that detail and the cause - and to solve it
          - Oracle or equivalent financial systems and Hyperion experience
          - Solid understanding of US GAAP and local accounting regulations
          - Excellent presentation skills
          - Consistently demonstrate a high level of accuracy in his/her work
