          Duties & Responsibilities HBS seeks a Research Associate to partner with a faculty member in the Accounting and Management Unit on research related to courses on Valuation, Financial Business Analysis among others. Duties may include library and field-based research, requirement gathering, data collection, extraction, and writing HBS case studies.

          Research Associates have the potential to work with Harvard Business School faculty on a variety of research projects and may develop intellectual property for HBS in many ways. Research products are most often journal articles, working papers, HBS cases and books. Duties include: writing and editing; conducting library and online research of local, regional, and international companies; gathering/analyzing data; performing sophisticated research utilizing world-class library; developing supplemental electronic courseware/case exhibits.
          Basic Qualifications
          BA/BS required.

          Additional Qualifications A degree in English, Business, or similar is preferred. Any interest/background in Finance, Accounting is preferred. The successful candidate must have strong research skills; be at home in an academic environment; work well independently. Candidates should be prepared to submit writing sample and transcripts. Candidates should be in good standing with a strong GPA. Any experience analyzing financial statements is desired.
