          Job Description:
          PricewaterhouseCoopers is nationally recognized for its in-depth tax technical knowledge and tax process improvement skill sets. Our Tax Reporting and Process Improvement team features multi-disciplined staff including: accountants, attorneys, economists and technologists from a variety of backgrounds, including corporate tax professionals, tax professionals from law firms, technology professionals and tax advisors from the Firm's practice offices. PwCs Tax Reporting and Process Improvement (TRPI) practice is dedicated to helping companies assess the complexities of delivering value and managing risk in their corporate tax functions through the improvement of people, process and technology Team members serve as business advisors to clients by leveraging a standard methodology to deliver sustainable tax performance improvement and tax accounting services. We assist clients in transforming their tax processes from analysis to implementation.

          PwCs tax technology group within TRPI assists clients with numerous technology challenges, including technology strategy, ERP tax integration, decision management and tax application implementation. One of the frameworks that PwC has developed is called, Tax Operation Manager. This custom-configured framework is a Microsoft based platform (Sharepoint, SQLServer, etc) that addresses common challenges faced by tax functions, like document management, workflow, collaboration, and reporting. We assist clients in leveraging their technology investments in Microsoft and other tools to improve key tax processes in tax compliance, tax financial reporting, tax planning, tax controversy work, due diligence work --- really, any process within the tax department.

          Position/Program Requirements:
          Knowledge Preferred:

          Demonstrates extensive understanding of ERP-based solutions to manage project teams involving the consulting, designing, implementing and supporting of those solutions as demonstrated by the successful management of enterprise application architecture, selection, implementation and optimization projects.

          Demonstrates extensive knowledge of, as well as proven success in a consultative role managing client projects related to, ERP solutions implementation and support, as well as financial business process improvements, emphasizing issues related to taxation and enterprise applications.

          Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge of and success in a role utilizing information involving general tax, which includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: monitoring and analyzing legislative and regulatory tax developments; preparing tax provision calculations; assisting in the development of strategies in anticipation of tax law changes and regulatory developments; analyzing the economic impact of tax legislation and federal budget proposals; and, addressing technology needs to support tax function effectiveness

          Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge of team and project management of multiple large and complex engagements, including a proven track record of success leading and managing projects from pre-sale and initial scoping through final delivery and signoff

          Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge and success with leading teams and project management engagements within a professional business services environment that focus on Tax Technology

          Skills Preferred:

          Demonstrates proven extensive abilities and success utilizing ERP-based solutions, including technical development efforts required for successful ERP solutions--designing, building, testing and deploying the technical components.
          Demonstrates proven extensive abilities identifying and addressing client needs: developing client relationships; preparing complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection.

          Demonstrates proven extensive ability and success as a team leader: establishing direction and motivating members, creating an atmosphere of trust, leveraging diverse views, and coaching staff.
