Signature Medical Group (SMG) is one of the largest multi-specialty, multi-site physician group practices on the South Shore, with locations in Abington, Bridgewater, Brockton, West Bridgewater, Randolph, Raynham, and Stoughton. The group employs more than 120 physicians in 17 specialties, and has more than a dozen locations across those seven towns. SMG provides comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages, including Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, Specialty care like Orthopedics and Weight Loss (Bariatric), Women's health, Urgent Care, and Diagnostic care.
The Vice President, Ambulatory Operations consults and assists the president of SMG in providing leadership and direction in planning, directing, and coordinating both patient and non patient care activities. S/he is accountable for the overall success of the operations of SMG ambulatory sites and services with broad responsibilities for strategic planning, patient satisfaction and quality, programmatic development and implementation, physician relationships, staff development and consensus building.
We are looking for a candidate who has demonstrated success in collaborating with finance, marketing, managed care and contracting, human resources and all support service functions. They must have strong managerial skills and the ability to provide direction to staff in multiple sites; the skills to support (and drive) organizational change initiatives, outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to relate well to peers, direct reports and senior leaders. This person should have a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible healthcare management experience within a multi-speciality physician practice. A Bachelors Degree is required; Masters Degree preferred.
