          Position Profile The Senior Shop Technician prepares a broad range of new equipment for delivery, repairs customer equipment in-house, makes used equipment ready to be resold per policy, and performs other duties as required. Must demonstrate appropriate technical skills for the repair and service of designated equipment. Job Duties and Responsibilities Set-up and prepare all assigned equipment and perform operational checks, making all necessary adjustments utilizing the Supply Chain Install / Return Checklist Provide technical support to other technicians Champion continuous quality improvement of shop output Quality assurance / Analyze and troubleshoot equipment failures to determine necessary corrective action Responsible for closing all jobs in Workflow Managed System (WMS) - tracking hours for productivity metrics Maintain clean and organized workspace Complete all required administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner Should show the ability to work with other shop personnel for on-the-job training and troubleshooting Follow all Company policies, procedures, training programs, and guidelines Responsible for control of Company assets provided to complete job tasks Achieve quality and productivity standards Responsible for the quality of the machines delivered to the customer May be required to work overtime - working outside the normal working hours when the need arises Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications) Five years of related work experience is required Demonstrated mastery of all Shop Technician competencies Experience in the configuration or servicing of both color and black and white copier machines required Requires excellent diagnostic, problem solving, and technical skills Communication / Supervision courses completed as directed by management Excellent interpersonal skills are required. Strong training skills Strong verbal communications skills Excellent customer service skills Demonstrates good work habits and observes all safety rules.
