          Job Details:
          MAIN FUNCTION:

          Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, Operating Room and within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures, responsible for planning, preparing and maintaining surgical instrumentation and surgical field peri-operatively; perform various related activities post-operatively in relation to room and instrument decontamination.

          MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

          * High school diploma or equivalent required.
          * Successful completion of a program in surgical technology from an approved school required.
          * Cerrtification in Surgical Technology required within 6 months of hire.
          * Current CPR certification required.
