Preferred Experience:
1. 2+ years of retail experience, visual merchandising or branded apparel experience
2. Department Store line experience
3. Previous work as a retail coordinator or regional at an apparel/beauty/accessories/footwear company ;
4. Must have a passion for active/sports brands.
Job Description:
Under Armour was founded in 1996 and is a leading supplier of a wide range of sportswear, footwear and casual apparel products. This position will be working with the brand to support their on floor presence through merchandising, point of sale placement and providing in-store training on product knowledge & merchandising standards to store-line personnel.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Merchandising of product category utilizing client directives:
A. Ensure compelling, accurate, and creative visual presentation
B. Manage inventory through stock replenishment
C. Implement all Point of Sale materials and any branding collateral
Communicate effectively accomplishments at the department and door level to Winston Retail Solutions and the Client:
A. Completion of standard/specialized reports (as directed), highlighting any opportunities for improvement and procuring any information as requested by the report content
B. Photography, effectively depicting the status of the client’s environments before and after your work is completed
Develop in-store relationships to maximize opportunities at retail:
A. Train Sales Associates/Specialists/Department and Visual Managers on client merchandising initiatives and brand recognition
B. Inspire sales through empowerment
C. Negotiate better real estate locations or maintain locations as appropriate
