Our client in Haverhill, MA is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist: 1st Shift , 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Mon - Fri $13.50 to $14.00 per hour
The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors and callers. The receptionist operates a multi-line phone system to answer incoming calls, directs callers to appropriate personnel, and completes a variety of administrative tasks.
Opens the front door at 8 AM and locks the front door at 5 PM, Monday through Friday
Greets each visitor, caller, customer, and employee with courtesy and professionalism, contributing to a positive experience
Welcomes guests, determines nature of their business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel. Explains and assists guests with proper GMPs when visiting to secure manufacturing areas as needed
Provides Accounts Receivable support: reviews and audits invoices, enters spreadsheet data with accuracy, produces reports using Excel and industry specific software, and other A/R tasks as assigned
Monitors visitor access, sign-in logs, departures, and guest badges. Maintains security awareness at all times
Operates multi-line phone system from 8 AM-5 PM, determines the purpose of calls, announces and forwards calls to appropriate personnel, department, or voice mail.
Updates staff contact and extension lists
Ensures that the front reception area is clean and welcoming. Reports any maintenance or cleaning issues, taking steps to remedy quickly
Answers questions about client and provides callers with directions and other information as appropriate
In the event of any emergency requiring staff/visitors to leave the building, ensures that staff and visitor logs are removed and taken from the building to outside meeting point
Distributes and accepts applications for employment. Ensures the security of applications until delivered to Human Resources
Maintains appointment diaries and conference room bookings
Organizes front desk supplies and support materials
Regular and punctual attendance
Working hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Minimum of one year office and receptionist/front of house experience
Excellent phone manner. Understanding and commitment to providing outstanding customer service
Neat and business-like appearance and manner
Prior multi-line phone experience. Familiar with the use of copy and fax machines
Outlook and Excel computer competencies combined with the ability and desire to acquire other skills as necessary
Able to maintain confidentiality and utilize sound judgment
Prioritize and plan work activities efficiently
Able to speak, write, and understand English fluently
Maintain neat and organized work areas
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Able to work cooperatively with co-workers. A team player willing to offer and receive input, follow directions, and successfully complete assignments as directed

In a generally quiet office environment, regularly required to: sit, use hands and fingers to handle and manipulate, frequently reach with arms, talk, hear, and understand English.
Occasionally able to stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel or crouch. Able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Visual Acuity for close and distant vision, ability to adjust focus.
Able to adjust to changing demands and environments quickly
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Spanish speaking a plus
